Today’s Prayer: PRAYER IS A DECLARATION OF OUR TRIUMPH IN CHRIST JESUS. [Psalms 47:1-2] “Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with THE VOICE OF TRIUMPH! For the LORD Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth.” The voice of triumph is one of the voices we utilize in prayer. It is the declaration we have won and will continue to win and triumph. I know it’s hard to see sometimes. We struggle, we wrestle against adversaries, we experience setback and failure…and it doesn’t look very triumphant sometimes in our lives. My pastor, Harold Warner…was on a gurney in a hospital after an accident that broke his spine and left him paralyzed form the waist down. That doesn’t look very triumphant. A man in our church recently lost his wife to cancer, another couple had a 22 year old son pass away, it doesn’t look much like a victory. Ministries can struggle to make converts and advance the Kingdom of Gods in their city or nation. It doesn’t look like we’re winning. But, in fact we are…we have and we always will be triumphant. We have experienced triumph over sin, we have power over Satan and all his devises and strategies. [Romans 8:37-39] “Yet in all these things we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” That IS our status, You ARE more than a conqueror. That is true despite some or all of the above things mentioned by the Apostle Paul in this passage. Enter into prayer today triumphant and victorious. Yes, I know…things may be hard and a struggle right now but we are over-comers, more than conquerors and triumphant in Christ Jesus. [Revelation 12:11] “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” That is the final declaration over our earthly life. We will look back over the eons of eternity at the triumph we won on earth. That triumph secured our place in heaven. Lay claim to having overcome and being triumphant today in prayer and be thankful for our victory. “Oh, CLAP your hands, all you peoples! SHOUT to God with THE VOICE OF TRIUMPH! A little clapping and shouting might be in order.
