I’m doing a lot of crying this morning… but not like you think… it’s a different kind of crying… The Bible calls it ‘crying out’… and that’s what I’m doing. Why? Because of the troubles, problems, stresses, and pressures that we all have to face, myself included.

We don’t just cry out because we have done something wrong… or we’ve dug a ditch for ourselves and we can’t get out. All of us should know that trouble comes when we are doing our very best.

[Psalms 34:17-19]

“THE RIGHTEOUS CRY OUT, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.”

Good and righteous people run into trouble… the solution ‘cry out and the Lord hears…’. That’s the answer when we feel trapped and don’t know what to do. He has delivering power to come to our assistance in all of our trials.

God knows every one of your problems, He does… don’t just hold onto them and quietly suffer. There is something cathartic about crying out to God when we are needy and desperate. When we cry out… the floodgates of heaven open. He knows just what you need and how to deliver you and guide you to the outcome that He desires for you.

[Psalms 18:6]

"In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to Him reached His ears."

[Psalm 57:2]

"I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills His purpose for me."

[Psalm 61:1-2]

"HEAR MY CRY, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to You, I call as my heart grows faint; LEAD ME TO THE ROCK THAT IS HIGHER THAN I."

I’m crying out to God today and that is exactly where The Lord is taking me.
