Faith = Hope = Confidence

Faith. Hope. Confidence.

It’s a very simple formula, yet one that many people miss.

Our confidence is not rooted in our circumstances but in the God we serve.

He is faithful, righteous, and just.

He is perfect in all His ways, and His love for us is boundless and immeasurable.

Everything begins with faith.

Scripture Focus

Hebrews 11:6

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Do you see the connection?

Faith—believing that God is and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him—produces hope.

And hope gives us confidence.

When life seems dark and uncertain, when circumstances appear confusing or out of control, they are never truly beyond God’s control.

He is present.

He is working.

And He is faithful to reward those who continue to seek Him.

Sometimes the Christian life requires determination.

We must put our nose to the grindstone, persevere through difficulty and hardship, keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, and maintain a “View From Above” that enables us to keep moving forward.

Whether you are experiencing one of the darkest moments of your life or simply facing the ordinary challenges of today, remember this truth:

Faith = Hope = Confidence.

Psalm 42:11

“Why are you in despair, O my soul? Why have you become restless and disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God.”

Hope in God.

Wait expectantly for Him.

He is your help, your strength, and your confidence.

Today’s Challenge

Whatever you are facing today, place your confidence in God.

Choose faith over fear.

Allow faith to produce hope, and let that hope strengthen your confidence in God’s goodness and faithfulness.

Keep seeking Him diligently, trusting that He is working even when you cannot yet see the outcome.

Faith leads to hope. Hope produces confidence. And confidence keeps your eyes fixed on Christ.
