Keep Climbing

The more good decisions you make, the more obedience to God that you contend for, and the more sacrifice you are willing to enact in your effort to please the Lord…the more progress you will make.

Life is about progress.

It's about growing and ascending to ever greater heights.

There really is no such thing as stagnation in the Kingdom of God.

It's either forward or backward.

Upward and onward, or descending.

Someone once said,

"Life is like riding a bicycle…if you don't go on, you go off."

You need to make decisions that will cause you to go on!

Scripture Focus

Isaiah 40:31

"But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint."

That is the picture this Scripture provides for us.

What we need in order to continually ascend is the strength that only Jesus can provide.

Life is wearying, and it can wear you out.

That is where believers in Jesus Christ have a great advantage.

The strength that we need flows from Him.

We are on the receiving end of divine power that enables us to continue climbing to the mountaintops of life.

Today's Challenge

Keep climbing.

Keep ascending.

Keep making the decisions that reflect obedience to God.

Depend upon His strength each day, and refuse to become content with spiritual stagnation.

As you continue to trust the Lord, He will renew your strength, sustain your walk, and enable you to continue moving upward and onward in His perfect will.
