The View From Above: Thoughts to Help With Everyday Life

Start Today From a Position of Strength
Today is another day that you must navigate while maintaining victory in your life.
This may be an ordinary day with no new struggles or problems. Or perhaps you are still dealing with the overflow of challenges from yesterday, last week, or even longer.
What will help you process today is to begin with prayer and Bible reading.
This is an often-repeated admonition, but it will provide you with the “View From Above” that you’re going to need.
Today could be a day of surprises.
Maybe good news, an answered prayer, or some blessing that you have been hoping would occur. A solution to a complex problem may emerge that you never anticipated.
Or you may be surprised by an ambush, a sudden assault, or a problem that seems to arise out of nowhere.
Perhaps today will be a day of serving, helping, or ministering to someone who needs encouragement and strength.
The key is to always be prepared and ready to face whatever a day may bring.
Or it could be the coming of the Day of the Lord.
What about that? Are you ready?
Scripture Focus
Matthew 24:42
“Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.”
Unfortunately, far too many people are living unprepared lives.
When crisis strikes, they are caught off guard and shaken.
We need to begin each day from a position of strength.
We will be spiritually strong and empowered if we have a good beginning to the day.
Prayer and God’s Word prepare us for whatever lies ahead—whether blessings, challenges, opportunities, or unexpected circumstances.
Today’s Challenge
Before you face today’s responsibilities, spend time in prayer and God’s Word.
Position yourself to hear from God and receive the strength He provides.
Right now is the time to set in motion a successful day, no matter what today may bring.
