STRESS IS A GOOD THING?!

Yes, it is…at least it can be.

You’ve heard the old saying, “No pain, no gain”?…It’s that way with life’s pressures.

Without them, we would drift toward mediocrity.

Pressure and stress have the potential to bring out the best in us.

So, don’t look at your problems and the pressure that they bring to bear on your life as an enemy. As you strive for wisdom, solutions, and a way out, you grow and mature.

1 Peter 4:12

“Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you…”

The best and most productive life is not one that is stress- and problem-free.

Have confidence that God can visit you and help you through the trials of life…and through it all, you grow and become better.

And always remember there IS a silver lining in every cloud…and that is the good that God can bring about in every circumstance.

All things really do work together for good to those who love God.

We are all forging a future in the will of God, and part of that process is the growth and strength that comes as we persevere with our faith and our love for God intact, never wavering, always striving for the very best in every situation.

Romans 5:1–5

“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”

There you have it, all the good that God can and will do in your life even in the midst of the trials and challenges that we all have to face.

God can always be glorified.

So, be encouraged today and be strengthened in the hope that we have in Jesus.
