Victory often requires spiritually, mentally, and emotionally very aggressive and sometimes violent action. (Part 2)

We all want to experience victory in our lives. The biblical definition of victory doesn't mean everything is perfect and we always get our way. Life, sometimes, can go sideways. We're trying to make progress, but progress isn't forthcoming. We have to have a long view of life. In the short term, there may very well be struggles and even setbacks, but overall we are advancing and we are winning as we fight the good fight of faith that the Apostle Paul encourages us all to do (1 Timothy 6:12).

God's Word is filled with promises from our Creator to provide, deliver, help in time of need, and strengthen us with all the strength we need to experience the victory that God has ordained for us. The Bible is the ultimate source for truth, and God is faithful to fulfill all His promises.

As you read these Bible verses about the promises of God, claim them over your life! Freedom from addictions, deliverance from sin and evil, financial provision, hope for lost and hurting family and friends, overcoming depression, recovering a marriage, good health, healing, being free from fear and anxiety, strength, and many more are the blessings and gifts that God promises to provide for those who have faith and trust Him.   

Memorize the below Scriptures that promise God's help and aid in overcoming what you are facing today. Pray over them and speak them out loud, and you will begin to see God move in your life for His glory and your good! His Word is faithful and true!

[Psalms 32:7-8] "You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye."

The Psalmist is stating what is true, and when you state and claim what is true and attach your faith to it, it becomes real to you. God preserves us and surrounds us with His delivering presence. He teaches, instructs, and guides us. What more could we ask of Him in our daily walk with God?

[Psalms 37:23-24] "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the LORD upholds him with His hand."

Today I have confidence in this promise and truth. Life is treacherous; we're not always sure-footed. God knows this and walks alongside us and goes before us to uphold us. I'm going to need that today. As we walk in obedience, desiring to please God… our steps are determined by Him, and we need not doubt His good will and good intentions for our lives.

And finally:

[Romans 8:28 AMP] "And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose."

God takes any and every situation and circumstance and works it out for our good. Ultimately, our lives really are in His hands. He loves you and will always work to advance His will in your life and demonstrate His love and goodness. That is my confidence today. My faith in His word and promises produces the peace and the victory that I enjoy. This too can be your portion!
